Dorset Dorset Wildlife Trust is asking the public to take up the
ultimate in singing challenges. To raise up your voices
and raise funds for the Trust by taking part in their first ever
fundraising month of music, the Wildlife Warbler. This
month long event will see groups of all kinds getting together to
undertake the challenge of either singing as many
songs as they can within an allotted time or singing a set number of
songs in a song-a-thon. It costs just £5 per group

Printmaking - A workshop of opportunity to experience this unique
artform using different processes of relief printmaking, with Heather
Gibbons. The Purbeck area provides a wealth of inspiration from which to
develop ideas, through pattern, design, texture and colour - the "art"
of printmaking can fulfil all these aspects. Specialist oil-based
printing inks will be used and basic resources (paper etc) are all
included in the overall cost. Lino may be purchased on the day if
required. Bring any sketch book references (drawings) which you may want
to develop as printed work. Protective clothing - apron/overall, gloves
if necessary.

Dorset Japanese Car Show is a mix of thrilling action and
entertainment for all ages with one central theme - Japanese Cars.
The show will exhibit some of the finest Japanese cars from the last
40 years. Ranging from fast and furious highly tuned Japanese super
cars to the more regular Japanese cars you may see on the street and
even a selection of rare Vintage Classic Japanese cars and 4x4's to
really broaden the appeal. With fairground rides, live music,
various demonstrations, traders and great food there really is
something for everyone making this an un-missable day out for all of
