Camelford is a busy little town on the A39 between the Atlantic and the moor.

According to local legend. Kings Arthur's Camelot was situated here; the legend also says that he fought his last battle at the ancient Slaughter Bridge, which crosses a stream a mile to the north. Just south of the  village is a footpath which leads on to the moor.

The nearest beach at Trebarwith is only 4 miles away and slightly further afield is Rick Stein's world renowned sea food base of Padstow. Other close by attractions, include Tintagel, the legendary site of King Arthur's Castle and the picturesque harbours of Boscastle, Port Isaac and the surfing mecca of Newquay. Due to steep gradients and steps, Juliot's Well holiday park is not suitable for wheelchair users or persons with severe walking disabilities. Grand and spacious lodge. No pets.
