- Originally
a small fishing village; now after a rapid growth in the last 100
years, Weston-Super-Mare is one of the principal seaside resorts on the north Somerset coast / Bristol
Channel. It has little of historical interest, but all the
traditional features of a seaside town: Winter Gardens, a Marine
Parade extending for 2 miles, several parks and a wide sandy beach
in fact miles of sands, golf, a Grand Pier and gardens.
-
- Caters well for
tourists and visitors, with donkeys, ponies and a Punch and
Judy show on the beach.
