Parade extending for 2 miles, several parks and a wide sandy beach
in fact miles of sands, golf, a Grand Pier and gardens.
- Caters well for
tourists and visitors, with donkeys, ponies and a Punch and
Judy show on the beach. The Seaquarium, Helicopter museum and a new
feature the Weston Wheel
- Local towns and villages to visit..
- Coarse and trout
fishing on the river Tone at Taunton, Wellington and
on the A361 about 9 miles west of Taunton). Other good waters
include the Taunton-Bridgewater Canal, the West Sedgemoor Drain and Clatworthy Reservoir.
